Zutara Week 2010 D5: Harmony
Zuko tried to sing along with Katara, but he couldn't reach a high note no matter what he did.
They were standing face-to-face, practicing for a ceremonial Water Tribe song that they were to perform at their wedding the next week.
"I can't believe we left this for this week! I'm never going to get this! That note is impossible." Zuko said in aggravation. He fidgeted with his silken red robes frustratedly, and stared as his feet. Katara grabbed his hands and said, "You can do this. Here, let me show you."
She pulled him closer so that their chests were almost touching. Zuko looked down at his fiance, marvelling at her beauty. Her long, wavy caramel brown hair was draped over her shoulders contrasting gorgeously with the deep ocean blue of the dress she was wearing. He fiddled with the betrothal necklace he had given her. The blue strap held a pendant similar to her mother's necklace, with a red flower intricately engraved into the light periwinkle stone.
